Preventative Maintenance
*Studies show 5 percent of all vehicle fatalities are clearly caused by automobile maintenance neglect. Following a preventative maintenance schedule will greatly extend the life of your vehicle while making it safer to operate.
- Always consult your owner’s manual scheduled maintenance
- Change oil every 3,000 miles
- Always have your vehicles fluids checked
- Tire inflation is critical ; check at least once a month
- Make sure engine stays tuned and don’t ignore “check engine” lights
- Lube chassis at every oil change interval
- Have battery cables and connections checked regularly
- Have the lighting system checked regularly; bulbs can burn out without your knowing.
- Replace wiper blades once a year
- Have your belts and hoses checked at all service intervals
- Check your air filter at least every other oil change
